(RANBURNE) Polly Ann Ward of Ranburne died June 12, 2020. She was 76.

The funeral will be Monday, June 15, at 4 p.m. EDT at Campground United Methodist Church in Graham. Bro. Gary Ward will officiate, and the family will provide eulogies. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. in the church.

Mrs. Ward was born Dec. 16, 1943, to Wilburn and Jessie McCord Ayres in Wedowee. She grew up in Micaville and attended Randolph County High School. She worked for Chalkline for 21 years and retired as a supervisor and afterwards worked as a CNA for Cleburne County Nursing Home. Later in life, she enjoyed working as her husband's trucking partner. She was most proud of the job she held caring for all her grandchildren. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church and took pride in cleaning the church weekly with her husband.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Harvey Ward; daughter, Stephanie Dickinson (Danny); son, Tim Ward (Misty); grandchildren, Noah, Rachel and Jacob Dickinson, Emily and Cassidy Auffert and Claire, Cash and Truett Ward; and sisters, Betty Murphy, Shirley Prater and Linda Crosson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pat Ayres, and two sisters, Caroline Wright and Mary Williams.
