(HOGANSVILLE, Ga.) Nora Narvelle Langley Duke, 94, of Hogansville, Ga., passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021.

The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. EDT at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand. Interment will follow at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Roanoke.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.

Mrs. Duke was born May 29, 1927, in Randolph County, Ala., to the late Noah Langley and Una Prince Langley. She retired from Hanes Hosiery and had been the co-owner of Duke's Septic and Construction Company. She was a member of Four Oaks Church of Christ.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Robert Brazil (Cathy), David Duke (Kelli), Andy Jones (Beth) and Cory Jones (Whitney); brother, Noah P. Langley;11 great-grandchildren; special niece, Ferrell Lee Pharr; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Heddie Woodville Duke; daughter, Beverly Connell Boyd; son, Neal Duke; sisters, Jacquline Yates, Martha Martin and Ora Nell Burson; granddaughter, Heather Brazil; and great-granddaughter, Cayla Gribble.
