(POTASH RIDGE) The funeral for Grover Clinton Baldwin, 84, of Potash Ridge will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Sis. Carolyn Hanner and Bro. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Church of God Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Mr. Baldwin died Saturday, Jan. 9, at his home.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Baldwin was born Dec. 29, 1936, the son of William A. and Lillian Louise Bonner Baldwin. He was a member of Woodland Church of God and worked in shipping and receiving at Plantation Patterns for many years.
Survivors include his three daughters, Belinda Henderson (L.C.) of Woodland, Rebecca Baldwin of Cusseta and Cindy Manuel (Jack) of Roanoke; son, Clint Baldwin of Oxford; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Williams of Daphne and Debra LeSeur of Centre; and two brothers, Wallace Baldwin of Auburn and Pierce Baldwin of Arrington, Tenn. Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Baldwin; three sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Benefield, Gene Benefield, Justin Benefield, Robert Benefield, Harlie Baldwin and Shane Denman. Honorary pallbearers will be Talia Baldwin, Lance Henderson and Scott Austin.
