(ROANOKE) Memorial services for Maxine Rollins Redding, 77, of Roanoke will be Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tyler Worthey and the Rev. Fitzgerald Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Mrs. Redding died Friday, Oct. 2, at her residence.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Redding was born May 27, 1943, the daughter of Roy Levi and Macie Richardson Rollins. She worked at Trac Mobile before retiring.
Survivors include her three daughters, Stacy Waldrep (Tommy), Lynn Bell and Dawn Waldrep (Bo), all of Roanoke; son, Reginald Bell of Senoia, Ga.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Brown of Roanoke and LaVerne Battit of Heflin; and three brothers, Mack Rollins, Hulon Rollins and Thomas Rollins, all of Roanoke. Mrs. Redding was preceded in death by her parents; loving companion, David Redding; four sisters, Durlene Bailey, Maggie Olson, Jeanette Spivey and Betty Sue Rollins; and two brothers, Levon Rollins and Preach Rollins.
