(FIVE POINTS) William "Kenneth" Flanary, 78, of Five Points died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday, Jan. 8, at State Line Christian Church in Five Points with the Rev. Sam Wood officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Those attending are asked to observe the CDC & ADPH guidelines regarding the use of masks and social distancing.
Mr. Flanary was born in West Point, Ga., on Oct. 21, 1942. He worked for Newell Roadbuilders. He enjoyed flying small planes and tracking his family ancestry. He was a member of Standing Rock Assembly of God and attended State Line Christian Church. He loved reading his Bible and his daily devotionals.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Flanary; two sons, Michael Flanary (Gayle) and Rusty Flanary; daughter, Kim Price; stepchildren, Alicia Morgan and Edward "Bo" Morgan (Jamie); 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Al Flanary (Cathi) and Rodger Flanary (Maxine); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn White Flanary; brothers, Harold Flanary and Carol Flanary; and grandson, Jordan Morgan.
