(ROANOKE) Mary H. Phillips, 79, of Roanoke died Friday, July 10, 2020, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Ga.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Elijah Jackson Jr. and Rev. Jeffery Rosser officiating.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her children, Ricky Heflin, Rodney Heflin and Reginald Heflin, all Roanoke, Lynn Heflin of Auburn and Lisa Smith of Atlanta; stepchildren, Willie Phillips (Sarah), Minister Luther Phillips and Calvin Phillips, all Roanoke, Annie L. Whatley (Stephen) of Washington, D.C., and James Phillips Jr. of Upper Marlboro, Md.; sisters-in-law, Elsie White of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Willene Phillips of LaGrange, Ga., and Betty Phillips of Atlanta; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
