(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Millie Allums Smith of Carrollton, Ga., died July 28, 2020. She was 90.

The funeral will be Saturday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. ET at the chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home in Bowdon, Ga. Jeff Marks, Sam Allums and Audrey New will speak.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. ET.

Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Woodland, Ala., to the late Claude Sharp Tucker and Lila Leota Tucker. She was retired from BBI where she worked as a seamstress.

She is survived by her four children, Samuel Andrew Allums, Deborah Carol Marks (Jimmy), Jerri Denise Easterwood (Curtis) and Calvin Scott Allums (Addie); 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Charles Michael Allums, Steven Edward Allums and Donna Kaye Hobbs; two husbands, Calvin Lester Allums and Jerry Fred Smith; and grandchild, Tammy Lynn Allums.

Pallbearers will be Chris Marks, Heath Allums, Chris Hobbs, Andrew Allums, Brian Harris, Steven Allums, Timmy Allums and Eddie Harrington. Interment will follow at Unity Church of God Cemetery.

Due to the current health situation, we ask those who attend the visitation and funeral practice social distancing and observe safe health protocols.
