(ROANOKE) Mary Sue Collins, 89, died on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020 at Traylor Retirement Community.

Mary Sue Collins was born in Chambers County on Sept. 5, 1930 to the parentage of the late Bob and Ora Lee (Trammell) Tucker. Her family were life-long members of the United Methodist Church in both Chambers and Randolph County. Eventually, Mary relocated to Chattanooga, Tenn., where she resided for several years. In recent years, she had returned to the Roanoke area to be with members of her family who remained in Alabama. She had resided in Traylor Retirement Community since 2016.

Mrs. Collins is survived by two daughters, Melinda Tucker and Ingrid Tucker; and three sons, Eddie Tucker, Johnny Tucker and Eric Tucker.
