(SPARTA, Tenn.) Charles Jackson "Jackie" Dudley, 65, of Sparta, Tenn., passed away in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Mr. Dudley was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Albany, Ga., to the late Charles and Sue Dudley. A former resident of Roanoke, Jackie loved hunting, fishing, Alabama football, wrestling and grilling. One of his greatest accomplishments was 24 years sobriety and loving every moment spent with family and loved ones.

Surviving family include his wife, Lisa Dudley of Sparta; sons, Charles "Chuck" Dudley of Bloomington Springs, Tenn., and Daniel Dudley (Megan) of Woodbury, Tenn.; daughters, Erin Guy and Jennifer Rowland (Stanley), both of Roanoke, and Ashley Fox (Chance) of Cookeville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Arainna, Alyssa, Ariel, Allie, Kelvin, Kyle, Aiden, Jackson, Carson, Stephen and Addly; brother, Larry Vowell (Alma) of Maryland; sister, Susanne Lumpkin (Tommy) of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson and new fishing buddy in Heaven, Korbin Dudley.

A memorial service will be held on a later date.
