(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Bonnie Lou Parmer, 79, of Carrollton, Ga., died Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family.
The funeral was Sunday, Sept. 8, at 4 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Brett "Logger" Parmer, Bro. Ricky Bice and Bro. Doug Weaver officiating. Interment was in Faith Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jackie Simmons officiating.
Mrs. Parmer was born in Atlanta on June 6, 1940, the daughter of the late George Arthur Head and Lois Stover Head. She was a retired school bus driver with Carroll County and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to chauffer her children and grandchildren around and watch them play sports. She loved cooking, gospel music and was an avid President Trump supporter, #Trump2020.
Survivors include her husband, James Hubert Parmer; son, Ricky Parmer (Gail) of Bowdon, Ga., and Mike Parmer of Roanoke; daughter, Tara Parmer of Carrollton; grandchildren, Jared Parmer, Khia Lanning (Thomas), Brett "Logger" Parmer (Jennifer), Seth Parmer (Brandi), Josh Parmer (Tammy), Patrick Caldwell (Tonya), Bethany Graves (Austin), Slade Parmer (Ayami), Nic Dye and Cason Parmer; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Pat Davenport of Jenkinsburg, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George Parmer; sisters, Nell Parmer, Ruby Corbin and an infant sister.
Pallbearers were Jared Parmer, Seth Parmer, Cason Parmer, Nic Dye, Austin Graves and Thomas Lanning.
