(ROANOKE) A graveside service for Iva L. Clark-Pilgrim, 89, of Roanoke was Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery with the Rev. Shirley Meddick and Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.

Ms. Clark-Pilgrim passed away Friday, Sept. 10, at Traylor's Nursing Center in Roanoke.

A Randolph County native, Ms. Clark-Pilgrim was born Sept. 15, 1931, the daughter of Thomas Edward and Connie Mae Florence Clark. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and worked as a property manager for apartment complexes. Ms. Clark-Pilgrim lived in Houston, Texas, for 25 years before moving back to Roanoke in 1990.

Survivors include her three nephews, Ronnie Clark Sr. (Donna), Larry Brown (Betty) and Garfield Clark (Paulette), all of Roanoke; step-nieces, Eunice Block of Ohio and Peggy Hill of Wedowee; and a step-nephew, Rayford Mitchell of Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, E.G. Clark and Leo Clark; and sister, Vera Brown.
