(LITHIA SPRINGS, Ga.) Eunice Agnes Price Green, 92, of Lithia Springs, Ga., died Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Ga., Thursday, July 25, from 4 until 7 p.m. EDT and Friday, July 26, from 10 until 11 a.m. EDT.

The funeral will be Friday, July 26, at 11 a.m. EDT in the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with the Rev. Kevin McKoy, Bro. Danny Anderson and Bro. Danny Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Mellow Valley Cemetery in Clay County, Ala.

She was born March 9, 1927, in Randolph County, Ala., the daughter of the late Guy and Mae Burrow Price. For over 60 years, Agnes resided in Lithia Springs but moved to Ashbrook Village in 2016. Agnes was a teacher of 31+ years, mostly in Lithia Springs. Her education included graduating from Wadley High and Southern Union College in Alabama, West Georgia College and the University of Georgia. As a member of Douglas County Retired Educators, Agnes served as membership chair for almost 20 years. She loved going to Hiawassee, Ga., where she always made two trips a year. Mrs. Green was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs.

Mrs. Green is survived by her daughter, Retta Manns of Rennsselaer, Ind.; son, Gary Green (Brenda) of Murrayville, Ga.; sister, Jane Yeackle of Mt. Dora, Fla.; brothers, Billy Price (Barbara) of Birmingham and Jimmy Price (Delores) of Gautier, Miss.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Seldon Green; grandson, Bobby Robinson; sister, Mavis Johnson; and son-in-law, Carol Manns.
