(PANAMA CITY, Fla.) Graveside services for Willis Carlton Morrison Sr., 87, of Panama City, Fla., formerly of Randolph County, will be Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Heflin, with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating.

Mr. Morrison died Saturday, May 25.

A Wedowee native, Mr. Morrison was born Dec. 4, 1931, the son of William Artemis and Velma Williams Morrison. He dedicated 30 years of his life to military service, serving in Korea and Vietnam. After retiring from the military, his desire to help others led him to open a small car lot, where he served the people of Panama City for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Morrison of Panama City; three daughters, Linda Pellowski (husband, Mark) of Alabama, Barbara Sapp (husband, Mike) of Youngstown, Fla., and Sandy Weber (husband, Klaus) of Panama City; two sons, Willis Morrison Jr. (wife, Barbara) of Texas and Robbie Morrison (wife, Lisa) of Rockledge, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Bill Morrison of Pensacola, Fla., Fred Morrison of Delta, Byron Morrison of Roanoke, and Wendell Morrison and Truman Morrison, both of Wedowee; and one sister, Juliette Cockrell of Alabaster. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Thomas, Milford, Jack, Billy Joe and George Morrison; and a sister, Dorothy Albright.
