(WOODLAND) The funeral for Clyde Adkins, 82, of Woodland will be Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tyler Worthey and Bro. Phillip Heard officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Church of Christ Cemetery at 5525 County Rd. 51, Newell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Mr. Adkins passed away Monday, May 31, at his residence.

A Tennessee native, Mr. Adkins was born Sept. 18, 1938, the son of Earl and Pauline Davidson Adkins. He was Church of Christ by faith and worked as a crew chief for Southwire.

Survivors include his three daughters, Kamie Graves of Birmingham, Tina Jenkins (Kevin) of Montana and Tracy Parmer (Chris) of Roanoke; son, Tony Adkins of Woodland; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arvil Adkins of Florida and Gene Adkins of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darthy Adkins; and two sisters.
