(FRANKLIN, Ga.) Ralphard Tim Brown, 77, of Franklin, Ga., died June 3, 2021.

His funeral was Sunday June 6, at 2 p.m. at Heard County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rodney Roquemore officiating.

Mr. Brown was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Randolph County, Ala., to the late Guy Charlie Brown and Ethel Estelle Crenshaw Brown. He was a Christian by faith. He served his country in the U.S. Army for four years, then continued his service with the National Guard. He also worked in Randolph County as a deputy sheriff for 13 years. He enjoyed welding and building things. He used his skills to great effect, working for local companies including Peachtree Fabricators. He was a Master Mason and a member of Centralhatchee Lodge #403 F. & A.M. His most precious times were spent with family.

Survivors include his three daughters, Amanda Wilson (Garvey) of Jasper, Ala., Taleah Gray (Roger) of Carrollton, Ga., and Tonya Harcrow (Brandon) of Franklin; son, Michael Brown of Franklin; stepchildren, Holly Stubbs of Franklin and Rex Alford (Tanya) of Pine Mountain, Ga.; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Marvolene McManus (Gerald); brother, Archie Brown (Susan); and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brown; two brothers, Helton D. "Doodle" Brown and Tilrey Brown; and close friend, Johnny Teal.
