(ROANOKE) Brittany Michelle Nolan was born on March 6, 1989 in Roanoke to the parentage of Tyrone Lockhart and Tracy N. Goss.
She attended Roanoke City Schools at an early age, but later received her GED from the Birmingham Adult Learning Center.
Brittany attended New Life Worship Center in Roanoke under the leadership of Rev. Maurice Wright.
Known for being the life of the party Brittany was known for bringing a smile to everyone's face that she came in contact with. Her children were her life line, and she loved them with all her heart.
On Monday Nov. 7, surrounded by her family Brittany quietly transitioned from this life at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Mae Dell Winston, Harold Nolan, Yvonne Askew and Jerome Lockhart.
Brittany is survived by her parents, Tracey Goss (Ben) of Roanoke; father, Tyrone Lockart of Tampa, Fla.; children, Keyon Moultry, Keiwon Moultry, Jaylon Nolan and Ja'Nisha Nolan all of Roanoke; sister, Kanesha Watkins (Lauren) of Woodland; brothers, Chawn Nolan of Carrollton, Ga., Titus Lockhart of LaGrange, Ga. and Deon Lockhart of Atlanta; grandfather, Rowe Winston of Roanoke; aunts, Engrid Ogletree, Margie Ogletree and Bernadette Henderson; uncles, Michael Henderson, and Vernon Ogletree; great aunts, Audrey Lee, Catherine White and Dicie Sims; special cousins, Connie, Marquita and DaMonica; special friends, Tracey Jones and Rekeshia King; a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be Friday, Nov. 18, from 2-6 p.m. at New Beginning Outreach Ministry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. at New Beginning Outreach Ministry with Bishop Tom Staples Jr., officiating, Elder Keith Nolan eulogist. Burial will follow in the Skyview Memorial Garden Cemetery in the Five Points Community.
