The Patel #1 convenience store in Roanoke was robbed Monday night - for the second time in a month.

According to Roanoke Police Department, the robbery was reported at 10:09 p.m. at the store on Old LaFayette Highway.

According to the witness, a black male wearing a black and gold Scream mask with an orange hoodie, pulled a gun, pointed it at the clerk and asked for the money. The suspect went around the counter and took all the money from the register. He then ran out of the building heading toward the nearby apartments.

Police Chief Adam Melton said his investigators have received much input from citizens and have a suspect. The previous robbery was on Feb. 10.
