On Monday Roanoke Utilities Board heard from a few residents of Allen Avenue about low water pressure.

The residents say this has been an issue for a while, and the board is considering getting an engineer to look at the situation and getting a new water line and fire hydrant on Allen Avenue.

During the meeting the board:

  •  Voted to have full service done on their generators.
  •  Heard an update about the sewage problem in the Mill Village/Park Avenue area. Webb Utilities fixed two lines.
  • Discussed purchasing a water leak detector.
