Woodland Volunteer Fire Department will host a fireworks show with live music by the Lard Bucket Band and food on July 3. The music and food starts at 5:30 p.m. with the fireworks kicking off at dark.

On July 4 at 7 p.m. in Lineville Park, Clay County native Jonathan East will perform his traditional country sound. A special fireworks display will be held after sunset. Bring a lawn chair.

A fireworks show will take place from Flat Rock Park on Lake Wedowee on July 5.

A rodeo will be held July 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Randolph County Equine and Agriculture Center on County Road 33, south of Wedowee. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children.
