It takes faith, dedication and courage to pack up your personal items, leave your family and head to a city of unknowns to work on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. Three registered nurses from Randolph County did just that weeks ago and worked on the frontline in New York and New Jersey, the areas with the largest number of cases of the coronavirus. One of the three is still there.

In next week's edition of The Leader, we will have interviews with all three ladies. Misty Tucker, Emilee Barron and Starla Ziegler will share their personal stories, their experiences, their ups and downs. Look for their stories next week in the May 27 edition of the Leader.
