Camper fire

Newell and Morrison Crossroads volunteer fire departments responded to a call at a fully engulfed camper near the intersection of County Roads 82 and 59 at Newell on Sept. 4. The camper, which had no tag, is a total loss.

Thefts

Ammunition, guns, a wooden box with memorabilia, handmade quilt, Coach purse, medications and two pistol holsters were taken from a residence on County Road 87 at Graham on Sept. 1. The door had been kicked in.

Bottles of loose change, 20 knives, a rifle, bow and arrows, air compressor and nail gun were reported stolen on Sept. 1 from a residence on County Road 87 near Bethel East. The door had been kicked in.

Tools and a ladder were taken from a residence on Highway 22 on Sept. 5. The basement door had been kicked in.

Tools were reported stolen from a building site on County Road 16 near Taylor's Crossroads on Sept. 4.

A lawnmower was stolen from a shed on County Road 73, west of Roanoke, on Sept. 5.

A gun was reported stolen from a vehicle on Hannah Lane on Sept. 4.

Vehicle thefts

A vehicle that had had a blowout on U.S. 431 in front of Lake Wedowee Motel & Cabins was reported stolen on Sept. 2.

A 1992 Ford Mustang was stolen from a residence on County Road 75 near Rock Mills on Sept. 6.

Other incidents

A resident of County Road 26, Roanoke, reported damage done to his vehicle on Sept. 3 while it was parked in his yard.

A black BMW X3 SUV struck an Alabama Power pole on County Road 33 on Sept. 4 and was abandoned there.
