GRAHAM - A Woodland man was arrested on Monday on multiple drug charges after fleeing from a deputy.

According to the report from Randolph County Sheriff's Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle because it did not have any taillights. As the deputy was talking with the driver, he sped away from the traffic stop.

The chase ended when the black Crown Victoria ran through a fence on County Road 87 at Graham. The driver was taken to Tanner East Alabama Medical Center and then later booked into Randolph County Jail.

Roger Wade Gosdin, 33, of 65 County Rd. 101, Woodland, is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl), possession of marijuana and attempting to elude.
