Summer on Main

Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 11th Annual Summer on Main Street Festival and Concert on Saturday, June 1, in Roanoke. The festival and celebration of Alabama 200 Bicentennial will take place on historic Main Street in downtown Roanoke with an opening ceremony beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The festival will feature a number of talented handcrafters, artists and food artisans. Additionally, there will be antique, collectible, community, commercial and street market vendors with specialty items. The "Free to Kids Zone" will highlight train rides, Tickled Pink Petting Zoo, face painting and lots of games. There will be lots of activities during the festival with Youth Leadership Randolph County hosting Summer on Main Color Run, Alabama/Auburn Wheelbarrow Race, Braggin' Rites Lawnmower Race and antique car displays.

A new addition to Summer On Main will be a parade at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Come celebrate a magical night under the stars with a timeless and nostalgic concert featuring Soul Tymes Nine beginning at 7 p.m. Remember to bring your lawn chair.
