Mrs. Hall’s Business Class at the Randolph-Roanoke Career Technical Center was provided with a donation from the First Bank of Wadley. With the support of Kim Bain, an Advisory Committee Member, Mrs. Hall’s students will be able to purchase additional DECA jackets, ties and ascots. This allows all Randolph County high schools and Handley High School students attending the Business Class at RRCTC opportunity for each competing student to wear their own jacket.
This is the first year for the DECA Charter. Last year students voted to move from FBLA (Future Business Leaders) to DECA ( An Association of Marketing Students formerly Distributed Education Clubs of America). Students who compete must wear a DECA jacket, a tie or ascot, and business attire. Competitions can be local and international.
“We are very grateful for the community support and excited to have local business leaders involved in our learning. Thank you First Bank of Wadley in supporting our students who will be able to compete in proper attire,” said Mrs. Hall.
