Several events were held throughout the county last week as a way to honor our local veterans before celebrating Veterans Day this Friday. The Wadley Kiwanis Club honored Veterans on Friday, November 3, in the Lakeview Room on the Wadley Campus of Southern Union State Community College. The annual event was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. A delicious meal was catered by the Wadley dining hall and the veterans were served by members of the SU Lady Bison softball team.
