Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the City of Roanoke Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing pursuant to Section 11-52-77 of the Code of Alabama on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Roanoke City Hall. The purpose of this hearing shall be to receive public comments on the proposed new Zoning Ordinance and Map.

All persons wishing to speak in favor of or in opposition to the proposed rezoning request are encouraged to attend this hearing. Copies of the new Ordinance and Map will be available at Roanoke City Hall. The City of Roanoke will conduct the meeting in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Any person requiring assistance should contact Amanda Davis, ADA Coordinator, City of Roanoke, 809 Main St. (334) 863-4129, no later than four (4) days before the public meeting so that accommodations can be made.
