Wedowee names new council member

At last week’s meeting of Wedowee Town Council, the council voted to approve Dinah Lee as District 5 council member to replace Willie Maude Brown. Mayor Tim Coe said there were two people that had expressed interest, Dinah Lee and Jordan McCormick. A motion was made by Jerry Huddleston to appoint Lee with Pam Traylor Johnson seconding. The vote was unanimous by the council. Lee took the oath of office and took her place on the council.

Wedowee Council
