Ending July 17th
On the night of July 12, deputies in the area of County Roads 92 and 59 stopped to look for a suspect with an outstanding warrant, Cameron Williams. A suspect matching Williams’ description ran to a Dodge truck and took off down County Road 82 and onto County Road 59.
The deputies turned on their lights and attempted a traffic stop. The Dodge was going approximately 90 mph. It turned onto County Roads 97, 58, 500 and 499 before stopping behind a residence on County Road 4991. Then the suspect jumped out and ran into the woods. His truck was not put in park, and it rolled backward toward a deputy, who dodged it, but it hit the patrol vehicle, causing minor damage.
