Marcus L. ‘Mark’ Scott

(WOODLAND) Marcus L. “Mark” Scott, 69, of Woodland passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Lawana Scott of Woodland; one daughter, Amber Nicole Roszell (Ricky) of Coldwater; two grandchildren, Bo Scott (Mersady Baltes) of Woodland and Oakley Petty of Coldwater; one sister, Cindy Tidwell of Roanoke; and one brother, Harold Scott (Nancy) of Roanoke.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Scott was born on Sept. 26, 1953, the son of Elmer and Mildred Robinson Scott. He was Baptist by faith and worked for CSX Railroad. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sue Scott Manley; and a brother, Elmer Randall Scott.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
