Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Shirley M. Shelton, an unmarried woman, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as Mortgagee, as nominee for HomeBridge Financial Services, Inc. DBA Real Estate Mortgage Network, its successors and assigns, on January 9, 2018, said mortgage being recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Randolph County, Alabama, on January 11, 2018 at Book Mort 628, at Page 188. Freedom Mortgage Corporation, the current holder, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the Randolph County Courthouse, in Wedowee, Alabama, on August 14, 2023, during the legal hours of sale, the following described real estate, situated in Randolph County, Alabama, to-wit:
For point of reference being at the intersection of the Easterly curb line of Chestnut Street and the northerly right-of-way line of Kirk Street and run due east a distance of 148 feet to a stake at the base of a large oak tree at the point of beginning, said stake being located 20 feet from and right angles to the center line of Kirk Street; thence continue East a distance of 60 feet to an iron pipe corner; thence North 01 degrees 54 minutes West a distance of 288 feet to an iron rod corner; thence due West a distance of 47 feet to an iron pipe corner; thence South 0 degrees 36 minutes West a distance of 288 feet to the point of beginning. Said parcel being located in Section 35, Township 21 South, Range 12 East, Randolph County, Alabama .
