Myrtle Cole

(MILLTOWN) Myrtle Cole, 90, of Milltown died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Traylor Health & Rehab in Roanoke.

Mrs. Cole was born in Chambers County on Aug. 4, 1932, to the late James Monroe Swader and the late Polly Guantt Swader, and was a member of Milltown Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 19 at 3 p.m. at Milltown Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at the Milltown Cemetery.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bobbi Swader of Valley; special niece, Sonja (Wayne) Baker of Roanoke; special nephew, Larry (Cathie) Swader of Milltown; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cole.
