Chelley Wayne Glass

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Chelley Wayne Glass, 61, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Horace Harper and the Rev. Mike Brewer officiating.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023.

Mr. Glass passed away Sunday, May 28, at his residence.

Survivors include: one daughter Chelley Gia Glass of Rock Mills; three sons, Braylon Whatley of Roanoke, Jonathan Glass of Alexandria and Mark Wayne Glass of Alexandria; two sisters, Gloria Lacy (Larry) of Five Points and Nancy Carol Huckabee (Chuck) of Roanoke; and three brothers, Webb Glass of Roanoke, Roy Glass (Erin) of Anniston and Neil Glass of Roanoke.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Glass was born on May 22, 1962, the son of Chelley Monroe and Hattie Jennell Hill Glass.  He was Holiness by faith and was a self-employed carpenter.  Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Matthew Wayne Glass; and one brother, Jimmy Hill.
