Sarabeth N. Taft

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Sarabeth N. Taft, 84, of Roanoke were held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Taft officiating. Burial followed at Wehadkee Cemetery.

Mrs. Taft passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Traylor’s Nursing Center in Roanoke.

Survivors include: three sons, Alan Taft of Round O, SC, Keith Taft (Rita) of Wadley, and Kyle Taft of Rock Mills; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kevin Pike and Kenneth Pike.

A Rock Mills native, Mrs. Taft was born on Oct. 9, 1938, the daughter of William Otto and Margie Ruth Bonner Newell. She was retired from Amoco Fabrics and Fibers. Mrs. Taft was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Taft; son, Alvin Taft; and a sister, Margie Ann Newell.
