Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Roanoke City Council will conduct a public hearing pursuant to Section 11-52-77 of the Code of Alabama on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Roanoke City Hall located at 809 Main Street. The purpose of this hearing shall be to receive public comments on an application submitted by Tiffany Calloway Staples for a proposed rezoning of vacant property located at intersection of Wilkie Clark drive and Government Street in Roanoke, Alabama.

All persons wishing to speak in favor of or in opposition to the proposed rezoning request are encouraged to attend this hearing. The City of Roanoke will conduct the meeting in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Any person requiring assistance should contact Amanda Davis, ADA Coordinator, City of Roanoke, 809 Main St. (334) 863-4129, no later than four (4) days before the public meeting so that accommodations can be made.
