Patsy Ann Overton

(OPELIKA) Funeral Services for Patsy Ann Overton, 76, of Opelika, were held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Overton officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Overton passed away Friday, April 7, at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, Ga.

Survivors include her sons, Tim Overton (Tomorra) of Sioux Falls, SD., Terry Overton (Tammy) of Henderson, Texas, and Rance Overton (Emily) of Roanoke; daughter, Michelle Overton of Opelika; and nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dylan Evans, Micah Savell, Billy Newsome, Hotrod McCain, Kenny Halsey and Dakota Overton.

Mrs. Overton was born in Anniston on Dec. 4, 1946, the daughter of Homer Lee Fincher and Mary Jewel Horne Fincher. She was a member of Bellwood Church of God in Columbus,Ga, and spent her time as a stay-at-home wife and mother. She enjoyed puzzle books and reading in her spare time. She loved the Lord, was a die hard Alabama fan, Roll Tide! and her greatest joy was raising her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barry Conway; sister, Faye Swope; and brother, Wayne Casey.
