The East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission is applying to the Alabama Department of Transportation for an administrative, operating and capital assistance grant under 49 U.S.C. Section 5311 of the Federal Transit Laws. The grant funding may provide financial assistance for public transportation service for the residents of Randolph County.

Copies of the detailed service description and project budget may be obtained at: EARPDC, 1130 Quintard Ave. Suite 300, Anniston, Alabama, between 8 am and 5 pm or through an email request to shane.christian@earpdc.org The proposed project will be final unless amended. This project will be included in the State Transportation Improvement Program and/or the local Transportation Improvement Programs as part of the Program of Projects. This notice shall constitute the final program of projects for the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission unless the scope of the project changes as a result of input gathered during the public hearing.

This grant funding will provide federal financial assistance for Administration and Operational expenses.

A public hearing will be held on April 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at the offices of EARPDC 1130 Quintard Avenue Suite 300 for public comment.
