Susie Patricia (Minnefield) Turner
(WEDOWEE) With deepest regret, the Minnefield family of Wedowee, announces the passing from this life of their beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Ms. Susie Patricia (Minnefield) Turner, 74, a native of Wedowee, and long time resident of Fifth Street, SW, in Wedowee.
Ms. Turner transitioned from this life on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at her residence.
Born in Randolph County, Wedowee, to Arthur and Agnes Minnefield on May 27, 1948, Trish was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Minnefield and son, Michael (Beetlebug) Houston.
Trish worked at Sewell in Bowden, Ga., and retired from Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland. She LOVED kids and would babysit for anyone. Trish loved gatherings and spending time with family and friends.
Trish leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Agnes Minnefield; brother, Warren (Julia) Minnefield; sisters, Shantay (Corey) Johnson, Joyce (Robert) Bryant-Caruthers; niece, Barbette (Donnie) Baguidy of Rex, Ga; nephews, Lamont Colquitt of Dayton, Ohio, Darron Houston of Columbus, Ohio, David Minnefield, and Warren II (Karla) Minnefield of Wedowee, and Deric C. Minnefield of Stone Mountain, Ga.; aunt Naconia Robinson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Emma Jean Green of Wedowee.
