Incident Reports

Jan 24 – A deputy was dispatched to Wedowee Marine store at 1650 Co Rd 804 in reference to a male subject damaging one of the gas pumps and then leaving the area on a red motorcycle. The clerk stated that the man had pulled up to the gas pump and attempted to use it but became frustrated and continued to bang the gas pump handle onto the lever which caused a computer failure for the fuel pump.

Jan 26 – A deputy was dispatched to Co Rd 59 in reference to a chicken coop that was on fire. The owner of the coop advised that the only thing he thinks could have started the fire in the chicken coop was a heat lamp.

Jan 30 – A person came to the Randolph Courthouse in reference to identity theft. The victim stated that a letter was received claiming that the individual’s account with Chase Bank had to be closed. The victim advised that an account had not been opened, and the person did not know who could be responsible for opening an account with their information.

Jan 30 – A deputy was dispatched to 56815 Hwy 22 in reference to a suspicious person on the property. The resident stated that she heard a car door shut so she looked outside and saw a man walking across her yard. The woman advised that the man came on her porch and tried to open the door twice, and then continued to walk on her yard before leaving in a small red pickup truck
