NOTICE OF INITIAL PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF ROANOKE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
The Roanoke Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Roanoke Justice Center 30 West Point Street, Roanoke, Alabama for the purpose of receiving public comments concerning the City’s Comprehensive Plan Update. The Comprehensive Plan is a general guide for the formulation of public policy and for directing future zoning, land use, and development decisions. Representatives from the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission will be in attendance to address any questions or concerns pertaining to the Plan. Interested citizens are encouraged to attend the hearing to offer their comments regarding important local issues and needs that should be addressed in the Plan.
