Thefts

Ten chainsaw bars, 20 chainsaw chains, one hydraulic pole saw, one electric chain sharpener and one 2.5 gallon gas can full of gas was reported stolen off a FL 70 bucket truck from a residence on County Road 509, Newell on Nov 1.

Incidents

A person reported on Nov. 4 that while driving his 2014 Toyota Corolla it started smoking from under the hood. 9-1-1 was dispatched to the area of County Road 14 and County Road 16 Roanoke, as the vehicle caught fire when the driver came to a stop. No one was injured but the vehicle was a total loss.
