Danny Ray Peterson

(LANETT) The funeral for Danny Ray Peterson, 78, of Lanett will be Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at the Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday before services begin.

Mr. Peterson passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, at WellStar West Georgia Hospital in LaGrange.

A Valdosta, Ga., native, Mr. Peterson was born March 29, 1944, the son of Roscoe and Marie Touchton Peterson. Mr. Peterson was Baptist by faith and was a senior mechanic for the Army Corps of Engineers.

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Miller of Stedman, N.C.; son, Markus Peterson (Michelle) of Haleyville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mary Nell Redden and the Redden family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Peterson.
