Geraldine Nimon

(HEFLIN) Geraldine Nimon, 69, of Heflin passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, in Anniston.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Mrs. Nimon was born Sept. 5, 1953, the daughter of Thomas H. and Anna Bell Turley Gill. Mrs. Nimon spent her time as a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary Dewberry (Nick) of Roanoke; sons, Seburn Nimon (Kimberly) of Heflin and Thomas Nimon (April), Kenneth Lee Nimon (Amanda) and Lynn Nimon, all of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Katherine McCollum of Lineville, Mary Baker of Heflin and Cecelia Davis of Tennessee; and brother, Billy Wayne Gill of Ashland. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie Nimon; and five sisters and brothers.
