Judy Seago

(ROANOKE) On Thursday Sept. 22, 2022, Judy Darlene Seago, 67, of Roanoke passed away quietly at the home of her granddaughter in Woodland.

Mrs. Seago was born Dec. 2, 1954, in Pendleton, S.C., to the late Charles Norris and Blanch Richey. Ms. Judy enjoyed going to singing events and playing in a bluegrass band with her father growing up. Her love for floral arrangements led her to a long career as a florist, and in the past few years, she enjoyed employment with Ann’s Flowers in Roanoke. She enjoyed her family the most and was proud of them and all of their life achievements as she watched them grow up. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her heart. You could find her at many of their sporting events.

Judy is survived by her children; Angie Brown (Chris) of Wadley and Jimmy Seago (Karla) of Roanoke; grandchildren, Tiffany Seago, Tara Stroud (TJ), Jacob Seago, Dakota Brown (Aleah Brooks) and Dalton Brown; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Seago; three brothers, Bud Norris, Ronnie Norris and Donny Norris.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
