Arin Lee Daniel, 23, of Bowdon, Ga. – possession of a forged instrument and failure to appear in court (receiving stolen property) – Sept. 8

Jeffrey Wayne Young, 47, of 7773 County Rd. 87, Roanoke – trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude law enforcement, tampering with evidence and criminal littering – Sept. 8. Young’s arrest followed a chase on his motorcycle by Bowdon Police Department officers, who chased him across the Alabama state line.

Thefts

A silver 1999 Mustang was reported taken from County Road 75 at Bacon Level on Sept. 11.

A red 1984 Honda Shadow motorcycle was taken from County Road 627 at Napoleon on Sept. 6.

A 2-1/2 year-old blue heeler dog was reported stolen from County Road 80 near Pine Hill on Sept. 12.

A gun was reported stolen on Sept. 12, from County Road 59 in the Rocky Branch area.

A resident of County Road 129 in Wedowee reported that he solid a pistol to someone and gave that person 90 days to pay for it, and he had not. So the owner reported the gun stolen on Sept. 12.

Someone took a TV, satellite receiver, microwave, four folding chairs, a table and chairs and grill from a camper at Pop’s Landing on Lake Wedowee on Sept. 10. It also appeared they had tried to take the camper itself.
