Arrests

Tommy Johnson, 56, of 46 County Rd. 226, Lineville – failure to pay fines (second-degree receiving stolen property and second-degree theft of property) – July 19

Alvin Samuel Nichols, 36, of 1400 County Rd. 105, Woodland – 19 counts of failure to appear in court (traffic) – July 19

Tisheena Eve Price, 40, of 820 County Rd. 509, Newell – failure to appear in court (first-degree theft of property) – July 19

Michael Adam Pike, 30, of 16 County Rd. 679, Roanoke – third-degree burglary, fourth-degree theft of property, third-degree assault, criminal mischief, attempting to elude law enforcement and resisting arrest – July 18

James Robert Brown, 44, of Roanoke Garden Apartments – failure to appear in court (child support) – July 18

Jimmy Riley Taylor, 28, of 233 County Rd. 512, Woodland – third-degree domestic violence – July 18

Marion Alexander Williams, 35, of 488 County Rd. 650, Rock Mills – unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and second-degree possession of marijuana – July 17

Duran Lamonte Zachary, 48, of 1018 Mack St., Roanoke – failure to appear in court (child support) – July 17

Teresa Carolyn Briskey, 66, of Lanett – failure to appear in court (giving a false name to law enforcement) – July 15

Coleman Lee Brown, 37, of 130 County Rd. 329, Wedowee – failure to appear in court – July 15

Carol Lea Whatley, 46, of 117 Price St., Roanoke – failure to appear in court (child support and possession of a controlled substance) – July15

Andrew Bernardo Sims, 31, of 6741 County Rd. 26, Wadley – probation violation, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of governmental operations and promoting prison contraband – July 14

Thefts

A resident of County Road 105, near Saxon’s Crossroads, reported the theft of a cell phone on July 20.

A 4-foot round orange Gulf sign was reported stolen on July 18 from County Road 59, south of Woodland.

On July 13, a chainsaw, horse harness and horse bridle were reported stolen from a storage building on Old Highway 431 near Union Church.

A window air conditioner was taken from a residence on County Road 91 on July 23.

Guns, a sound bar, air purifier, leaf blower, chainsaw, weed trimmer, steaks and assorted cash and loose change were taken on July 25 from a residence on Mitchell Road, Graham.

A silver 1999 Honda Accord and some cash were taken from County Road 473 at Newell on July 25.

A dining table with chairs, tools and a storm door were taken from a residence on County Road 30, near Big Springs, on July 21.

Hand trucks, tools, painting supplies, a MacBook, cables and a claw foot tub were taken from a residence on Louina Road on July 24.

Incidents

Two people received injuries on July 13 while attempting to break up a dogfight on County Road 622 in the Potash area. The female victim’s injuries required stitches, and the male victim had lacerations and a broken arm.

A resident of County Road 219 in Delta reported that on July 23 a neighbor’s dog came into her yard and killed her goat.

Dumping was reported on County Road 673 in the Haywood area on July 25.

A Mahindra tractor and an 8-foot bush hog were reported as stolen from County Road 866, near Cragford, on July 25.
