Adam Smith

(LaGRANGE, Ga.) Adam Smith of LaGrange, Ga., saved by Grace, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 9, 2022.

To know Adam was to love him. He was full of life and laughter. Adam was born Oct. 18, 1991. He graduated from Troup High School in 2010, and then went to Auburn University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2014. After graduating from Auburn University, he attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he had an article published in the Georgia Law Review. In 2017, he graduated in the top 30 percent of his class. Following law school, Adam opened his own law firm, A. Smith Litigation. Here he faithfully served his clients and was passionate about helping them resolve their needs. Adam served as an active member of LaGrange Lions Club International. Adam was adored by all who knew him. He had a love of history, especially war history, antique guns and classic cars. He often enjoyed taking a drive and listening to classic country music with his beloved pup, Samson, riding shotgun. Outside of work, Adam could often be found on the greens with a golf club in his hands. He also appreciated a good bowl of homemade ice cream with family and friends.

Adam leaves behind his loving parents, Chris and Debbie Smith; brother, Timmy Smith (Kristi); adoring nephews, Hudson, Henry and Hollis Smith; grandparents, Betty Kelley (Melvin) and Tommy Burke (Patricia); a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as a special friend, Caroline Brophy. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Mae Dean Smith and his great-grandparents, Theo and Reba Burke and Wilson and Red Cummings.

Funeral services as well as visitation for family and friends will be held at Baptist Tabernacle in LaGrange. Date and time to be determined. Final arrangements will be posted at www.higginslagrangechapel.com.
