Accident sends one person to hospital

A Roanoke man was transported by ambulance to Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center on Monday morning after a one-vehicle accident that happened as a result of a medical condition. Thomas Morgan, 36, was driving his 2003 Honda Accord southbound on U.S. 431 near Dollar General in Roanoke when he crossed over the turn lane and northbound lane, left the road and came to rest in a deep ditch against a utility pole.
