Fire

Margaret Parmer reported a fire at her chicken house late Monday night on County Road 112 in the Bethel East area. The cause is suspected to be arson.

Thefts

A Motorola cell phone was reported stolen from a residence on County Road 82 at Newell on June 6.

A 2020 John Deere skid steer and a 20-foot trailer were taken from outside Bobber’s on U.S. 431, north of Wedowee, on May 31.

A red, white and blue Fun Time camper was reported taken from 3350 County Road 82, near Foster’s Crossroads, on May 28

Someone took a silver 2009 Honda Accord from the boat ramp on County Road 863 in the Ofelia community on May 27.

Other incidents

A resident of County Road 4, north of Wedowee, reported that on June 3 someone threw a bucket of paint at her 2021 Kia Forte during an argument.
