Sandra Dee Huckeba WIlliams

(CLAY COUNTY) Sandra Dee Huckeba Williams passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, after a brief illness at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 14, at Bethel Baptist Church (130 Bethel Circle, Cragford). The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., and the service will begin at 3:00.

Ms. Williams was part of a military family and was born in Germany. She traveled many places growing up but spent most of her adult life in Randolph before moving to Clay County. Sandra loved being a mother and adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as Mama or Nanny to many friends and family and was always putting others before herself.

She is survived by four children, Chasity and TJ Tuck, Daphney and Scott Mask and Christopher Williams, all of Cragford, and Joe and Linda Williams of LaFayette; 15 grandchildren, Jordan, Andy, Clay, Brandon, Justin, Morgan, Kendall, Jakob, Koby, Jeremy, Jordan, Brianna, Joseph, Austin and Hunter; eight great-grandchildren; three siblings, Pattie McCain, Billy and Wanda Huckeba and Tracy Dewberry; many nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Howard Huckeba and Ethel Mae Whaley Huckeba, and two siblings, Lori Thompson and Beth Huckeba.
