Governor Kay Ivey to visit Randolph County Wednesday
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey will make a visit to Randolph County Wednesday of this week. State Senator Randy Price announced the visit in a letter to Randolph County Economic Development Authority Director Bryant Whaley Friday.
Ivey’s visit will take place Wednesday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at the pavilion at Flat Rock Park on Lake Wedowee.
Ivey’s stop in the county is part of her tour of the state ahead of the upcoming May 24 primary election. She hopes to address potential improvements that can be made to the recreational facilities on Lake Wedowee, among other topics, in an address during her visit.
